Alexa Morden, M.Sc., M.A. (she/her)
Psychometrist / School Assessment Lead
Alexa is an experienced psychometrist, and has been working with Riverwise since 2021. She is passionate about working with children and youth to help them discover their unique skills and abilities in ways that are strength-focused and culturally sensitive. She also has an interest in supporting students and school teams by offering a unique lens on how children think, learn, and engage with others at school. Prior to joining Riverwise, Alexa has worked for as a psychometrist for over a decade in academic research, private practice settings, and a school board. At Riverwise, Alexa is supervised by Maaike Canrinus, Pat Veleno, Amanda Medland, and Laura Stevens.
Alexa lives in Huntsville with her husband and daughters. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors, exploring nature.

M.Sc. in Child Life and Paediatric Psychosocial Care, McMaster University (2023)
M.A. in Psychology: Cognitive and Behavioural Neuroscience, Brock University (2013)
Additional training in cognitive behavioural therapy, emotion focused family therapy, and selective mutism.
