Emma Needleman, B.A., B.HSc. (she/her)
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Emma is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who is passionate about providing psychotherapy services to children and adolescents. Prior to joining Riverwise in May 2024, Emma worked as a Registered Midwife and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), providing support to birthing families in Toronto, Barrie, and across Muskoka.
With a focus on collaboration, Emma meets children and adolescents where they are developmentally to explore the issues that are important to them. Emma’s approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, and supportive. At Riverwise, Emma is supervised by Maaike Canrinus.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her family, reading novels, and running with her dog, Coco.
