Katya Gessie, M.A. (she/her/elle)
Psychometrist
Katya is a psychometrist who is passionate about empowering young people. She has experience providing comprehensive assessment services to children and youth in mental health agency, private practice, and school board settings. She has a particular interest in supporting individuals with intellectual developmental disorders. At Riverwise, Katya supports our psychoeducational/ psychological assessment clients and is supervised by Maaike Canrinus. She is working toward registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
Outside of work, you may find Katya taking a group fitness class, cooking, or sitting at a cafe with a large coffee in hand. Katya is fluent in both English and French.
