Larissa Panetta, Ph.D. (she/her)
Psychoeducational Consultant
Dr. Larissa Panetta is a psychoeducational consultant working toward registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. She has over a decade of experience working with a diverse range of youth in terms of age, intersectional identities, settings, and presenting concerns. She uses a developmental, family systems, and diversity-informed lens to help her clients meet social and learning goals.
Dr. Panetta has a strong interest in supporting neurodiversity. She has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other developmental disabilities. Dr. Panetta is passionate about bridging the gap in understanding between activity communities and the profession of psychology. At Riverwise, Dr. Panetta is supervised by Maaike Canrinus. In addition to working at Riverwise, Dr. Panetta is completing a research post-doc at York University where she studies how to promote well-being and thriving in autistic youth.
In her spare time, Dr. Panetta enjoys reading, yoga, and spending time in nature with her dog, Chloe.
