Laura Stevens, M.Sc., C.Psych. (she/her)
Psychologist
Laura is a school and clinical psychologist who specializes in the assessment of learning disabilities, social-emotional functioning, attention disorders, intellectual disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder. Laura has worked in a school board setting for over ten years, and also has experience in residential treatment and health services settings.
Laura uses a strength-based approach and believes that everyone has unique strengths and challenges. She believes that by focusing on strengths (or “superpowers”), while accepting challenges, any individual can successfully achieve their goals. Laura is also passionate about having families and individuals truly understand the results of a psychological assessment.
Laura enjoys spending her free time with her two young daughters and husband, going to the beach, stand up paddle boarding, snowboarding, and just being outdoors. Laura’s Christian faith is also an integral part of her life and she is an active participate at her local church.
